St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub

Happy Saturday! Hope you guys are all having a fabulous day :) So first, I can not stop raving this product to my family, friends, and even strangers! This is by far my best cleanser I had ever tried. Literally.

What this product claims to do: 
 This scrub with skin-soothing green tea gently fights blemishes and reduces redness & irritation caused by acne. The result is clear and calm skin.

• Hypo-allergenic, non-comedogenic
• Dermatologist tested
• Formulated without parabens and phthalates, oil-free
• Not tested on animals
• Does not contain animal ingredients

I have pretty bad acne but when I started using this scrub, the redness and bumps went away within 3 days. Note that I used this about a year ago and I stop because there was just no more product. I wanted to try new things but I always come back to this one. Now that I am using this again, I noticed my redness reduce by a lot and the bumps are not as "sticking out" (to all the people who knows what I am talking about!). It does prevent future acne and that's another reason why I love it! The texture of the scrub doesn't feel as hash as many products I tried. It has really small micro beads (maybe even smaller) and it does it's job very well. The smell doesn't really bother me, but if you're a person who doesn't like strong fragrances then you might not like this. I remember using it for the first time and the first thing I noticed was the smell.
Overall, I recommend people using this maybe 2-3 times a week. If you have dry skin then I recommend you to use less. If you have more oily skin then I recommended using it 3 times a week.

NYC Show Time Glitter Eyeliner Pencil in 944 show time black

Happy Monday!! Today I am reviewing the NYC Show Time Glitter Eyeliner.
Dare to add some glitter?

What this product claims to do: 

- Long wearing

- Metallic sparkling effect

- Smooth and creamy formula

- Does not smudge

- Non-draggy

- Provides a precise line 

- Suitable for contact lens wearers 

What this product did for me:  I was so excited for this eyeliner because when I first saw the glitter on the eyeliner I was so happy! I always wanted a glitter eyeliner. I think it just glams up your makeup.

Unfortunately, I have very oily eyelids and this eyeliner did not stay on. Even with primer it crease. The metallic sparkling effect was beautiful! The glitter didn't bother or irritate my eyes but like I said it didn't stay on long. Contact lens safe :) ! The formula is very creamy and it was so easy to put on. The pigmentation was really dark with little glitter's on them. The pigmentation is so dark that right when you put it on your skin, you automatically see a very dark line. Yes it's that pigmented!

If you have very oily eyelids I definitely won't recommend this eyeliner. If they have a waterproof formula then I recommend that. For people who have dry to combination skin, this product is great for you!

I would only do the review on the VA-VAVIVID cleaning system in this review. Unless you guys want to use how is the nail polish too :)

What this product did for me: I tried this product for a month now and I honestly think this is a great product! Well more like I tried it for 3 weeks and I stop using it for 2 weeks to see if it had changed my skin. It cleaned my face really well and it felt super soft after I rinse it off with water. I did notice that I stop breaking out like crazy recently, but right when I stop using it, I started to have these little white heads again. The little product that they provided was called, "shine, shine go away!" and it claim to minimized shine. My oily face was still oily, so therefore, it didn't help that much in controlling my oil. But it did clean my face very well. 
- This product is great for traveling because it's small/convenient and it runs on batteries. 
(Bring extra batteries if it does run out!)  

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in "Never Fade Jade"

Hello there!!!! This is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments in "Never Fade Jade"
What can say about this? This is very similar to their color tattoo that has the creamy texture. I really like the creamy texture so I thought why not give this one a try. This is a mineral makeup therefore, I was for sure that it wouldn't be as good for my oily eyelids.
Since I love the creamy texture more I put the pure pigments to the test. One day without primer and one day with primer. The day without primer lasted me about 3-4 hours. The one with primer lasted me about 10+ hours. I know, amazing right? The only downside is the packaging.

It is a bit messy to handle and I think that really got me annoyed. The application was really nice, it wasn't as easy as the creamy texture one but that's my opinion. It's not like you can swipe it right on, but you have to blend it.

The pigmentation was BEAUTIFUL! You can always make it brighter and bolder by putting more, or you can put it on with just a hint of color to you eyes. There is shimmer in this eyeshadow but when I put it on, it doesn't seem to show. It looks more matte in my opinion. There are many other colors!!











 I recommend this to people who love matte eyeshadows and to people who love crease free matte finish!

Dinner in

Let's have dinner at home!
Made a pretty quick dinner with my boyfriend because we were sooo hungry!
We made some clam chowder in a sour dough bread bowl (oh yeah) and some bombdiggy tortillas!

First, we made the clam chowder in a sour dough bowl <3
What you would need: - round sour dough bread
(if you can't find any round sour dough bowl then using the sliced one's are fine. Dip and enjoy =D )
                                     - clam chowder
                                     - A fork to get all the bread out of the bowl
First, we cut the top of the round sour dough bowl in circle and used a fork to get all the bread so we can fill it in with clam chowder.

Then we made clam chowder. And we are done. How easy was that?! (Tip: Making clam chowder from scratch is way better than can one's!)

TIME FOR THE TORTILLAS!!
What you would need: -tortillas
                                     - cooked shrimps
                                     - cheese


First, we got a tortilla and we put it on the pan. Then got some cheese and shrimps. Spread evenly.

Cook for about 2 min per side. Put another tortilla and you are done :)

Finished the night with some Green Tea ice-cream!

My Father's day fruit gift idea

Did everyone take a spot to make a dish on Father's day and there's just no more room for another main dish? Then why not go make some dessert? Something you know everyone will enjoy. Something like a fruit basket! To spike it up a bit, you can cut the fruits in all sorts of shapes. Stars, hearts, circles, flowers, etc. I prefer to get some cutters or the kit I bought to make this basket. Get your fruit cutter here! If you found other cutters then great! Use them! It's very affordable and easy to make.

I started out washing all the fruits that I wanted to make. MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO ANY OF THE FRUITS YOU ARE PLANING TO MAKE! 

Any watermelon!
Make sure you cut your watermelon in a way so you can cut them in shapes. (NOTE: Make sure the water melon is not too ripe or else it would be harder to cut.)

 Start cutting your desire shapes! HAVE FUN!

Have a lot of left over watermelon scraps? Why not make some watermelon juice? Pop the left over watermelon to make some delicious drink that everyone would enjoy.

Finally, start getting some sticks (prefer longer sticks) and start putting the fruits together. With the left over fruits you can put it on the bottom.

Tortilla with chicken, shrimp, and cheese! YUM!

Want something easy, fast and yummy? A tortilla with some shrimps, chicken, and cheese will do the trick! Put the tortilla on the pan and at the same time put the cheese so it is melted. After that, put the cooked chicken and shrimp so that it can stick onto the cheese. Put another layer of cheese and another tortilla to finish it off. Cheese is optional, it is just to stick to the other tortilla. BAM! A yummy snack!

Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bad to the Bronze

Okay, so I'm pretty sure that you have heard of the 24 hour color tattoo from Maybelline. I must say I am quite impressed! I got the color "Bad to the Bronze" and I just totally think it's the bomb! It has a creamy texture and it's so easy to put on.

The staying power is great! It stayed on my eyelids for 14 hours, but that's with an eyeshadow primer on. I did notice it did crease within 12 hours, but not a lot. Without a eyeshadow primer, the eyeshadow lasted 6 hours for me. (NOTE: I HAVE VERY OILY EYELIDS) If you're a person who don't usually put on primer then I'm pretty sure you'll love this.

I also tested this in water and soap and it still did not come off. That's awesome in my opinion. I guess you can wear this while swimming and still look glamorous. WOOHOOO!

In my opinion, this is a dupe for the "Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Shadow Pencil in juju"
I always love that color, but unfortunately they have discontinued it. Once I got my hands on the Maybelline in "Bad to the Bronze" I totally fell in love with it. Good job Maybelline!

"Secret Outlast Clear Gel" (Deodorant)

If you're a person who sweats a lot on your pits then give the "Secret Outlast Clear Gel deodorant" a try. This products claims that it will reduce underarm wetness. From my experience, the wetness never went away, but the odor and white marks were gone. Adios foe! Since this is a gel texture I feel like it doesn't dry on my underarm like how the solid texture would. Some people just don't like the wet feeling on their underarms. I'm not saying it's REALLY wet like dripping wet, but its moist. I actually really think it's okay if my underarms are moist, just as long as it doesn't leave white marks and it still smells fresh. Odor lasted pretty good. I played basketball for four hours straight and my underarm still smelled fresh! I honestly didn't try this for 48 hours because I don't like wearing deodorant and not taking a shower on the day I applied. Overall, this product is great!

Shea Moisture Yucca & Baobab Anti Breakage Hair Masque for thin, fine hair

Brittle and damaged hair? I was coloring my hair so much that I forgot to take care of it. Shame on me!! I recently came across this masque at Target and I thought why not give this one a try? It was on sale and I had nothing to lose. The "Shea Moisture Anti-Breakage Hair Masque" claims that it penetrates to moisturize and repair over-processed, dry, brittle or damaged hair. It thickens, volumizes & softens. After I bought this, I went home and I left this on my hair for about 30 minutes. After rinsing and blow drying my hair, my hair felt felt soooo smooth. I never thought something I never heard of would be that surprising good. This needs to be famous :) I did read some reviews and it seem like you will either love it for hate it. There's no in between. I have thick brittle, and damaged straight hair and it works perfectly for me. It did say it was for thin, fine hair but I wanted to see what will happen if I used it. Overall, I love it and it works great for my hair. Do keep in mind that it seem like this product doesn't work for everybody, so keep your receipts!!

"Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure" (In Just Say Yes)

Hello! I am not a big fan on fake nails, but I would give it a try. As a matter of fact, this is my first time trying them. How exciting! First of all, I like how they give me many nail sizes to choose from because obviously everybody has different nail sizes. Even though I couldn't get the perfect match for my nail size, I was pretty impress that they gave me more than 10 nails to choose from. Unlike other nail brands, they give you exactly 10 nail set and they expect you to fit it. I also like how this is not messy at all! No glue! Just peel the tape or the transparent lining and you're good to go. This is best for days where you want to look nice but you forgot to do your nails the night before. The only thing I want to look forward in this product is giving us more sizes to choose from. Other than that, I am very impressed :)

"Pop Chef" Fruit arrangements

 Who doesn't like eating their fruits?!? That can change right about now. YAY!! Thanks to "Pop Chef" their kit that makes eating fruits fun and adorable. L'Oreal Colour Riche® Nail in "The Palace Life" (115)

Happy lazy Sunday! I was pretty surprised that the L'Oreal's nail polish line actually caught my eye. After working with some of the nail polish, I been liking it a lot so far. I am a very picky girl when it comes to nail polish. There's not a time where my nail polish will stay on for more than two days...and it pisses me off! This my friend, is the nail polish for me. The picture shown above is a picture that was taken after five days that I have worn this polish.  When I was applying this nail polish, it came out pretty sheer for the first layer. After a second layer it was the perfect pink. This is a very pretty pastel pink, no shimmer or anything. This product claims that it has luxurious shine, intense color, and a 10 day wear. OH YES IT DOES! Other then having the nail polish on for 10 days, five days is actually a really good amount of time for me already :) I have to say I am very proud of L'Oreal for making this line!

NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in "Big Apple Red" (356)

Looking for an everyday lip balm that has a great tinted color and with a reasonable price?!? Then look no more! The NYC Applelicious lip balm in "Big Red" may be the one. This product claims to make your lips smoother and softer with the ingredients of Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, and Avocado Oil. From my experience, this lip balm went on very smoothly and gave me a very pretty sheer red color. The color did fade within 3-4 hours, but my lips still felt very moisturized. The only thing that bothered me was the waxy taste. I did eat while I had the lip balm on and it had a very unpleasant taste. So I recommend wiping the lip balm off before eating. Don't that apple look awesome!?!

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1

Hello there! So you're walking around and you want to try a new foundation because maybe you're bored of the same old one or it just doesn't work for you anymore. Well why not give the Covergirl Outlast Stay fabulous 3-in-1 foundation a try! This foundation has a SPF of 20. It claims to have a "Lasting power of a primer, coverage of a concealer, and blendability of a foundation in one." And it's SHINE FREE! First off, the lasting power is amaze-beans! I usually have my foundation on for about 10 hours or more (yes I know that's bad) BUT that's me. I have very oily skin and this foundation did hold my oil quite nicely. I did blot my face within 6-7 hours. After I blot I noticed that my face still looked fresh and nice. YAY! Secondly, the coverage is good. This section is pretty tricky because everyone has a different definition when it comes to coverage. (If you have acne scars this foundation is for you). The blendability of this foundation is fabulous! It blends so nicely. From my experience, I like this foundation because it has the look where the foundation doesn't sink into pores, but sits on top of your face kinda look. It gives my face a smooth/fresh finish look. I also ask my boyfriend how it looked on me and he said, "I don't look as shiny" YES I was going for that look :) I guess the only bad thing about this product is when you don't lock the pump the foundation is gonna get all over the cap because the tip of the pump is so close to the cap. Doesn't bother you? I guess it just bothers me >=I . This foundation didn't break me out (extra thumps up)!!! Plus for having a pump! Good job COVERGIRL!

Maybelline Color Whisper in Coral Ambition

If you like coral from a sheer to medium pigmentation then this is for you! This product is a built-able shade for your lips. You can either have a light/sheer finish for more of a soft look or a vibrant finish for more of a pop of color look. This color should be for people who love coral but is also color shy. This gives out a sheer look but it is built-able to a medium pigmentation. From my experience, please make sure you don't have dead lip skin that's about to come off!!! The coral color will sink in and it would shape the lining on your dead lip skin. The staying power is not all that great. If you want something to stay on your lips until you get home this is probably not for you. As a matter of fact, you would be lucky if you can go half a day with this color. Yes, It's that sheer! Unless you found a great way to make it stay. Tip: Use a lip scrub to avoid those linings. I recommend these to people who like sheer to medium lip colors.

I have very oily skin. Not combination, but straight up oily! It's like, you can fry an egg on my face (bad description), but it's true. I came across the "De Slick oil control makeup setting spray" from Urban Decay, and it seem so perfect for me. I tried this over my foundation for the whole entire day and let me tell you. It kept me oil free like crazy about 6-7 hours, and that's okay with me. I did blot after the 6-7 hours and noticed that my face looked like my foundation did not budge at all. After time, I did start noticing that my face started to have dry patches. That's when I started using a moisturizer before I put my foundation and the setting spray on. The dry patches were gone and my face was known to have a pretty dewy finish instead of a oil mess. Overall, I think this setting spray is great, but be careful because it can dry your skin over time! Just put on a moisturizer and you're good to go. I recommend this to people who have oily skin!

To relate, the "Urban Decay all nighter makeup setting spray" plays a very similar role. I found this one more of a cool and a refreshing face spray. It gave me that dewy face look and it actually seems to moisturize my face at the same time. This spray kept on my makeup pretty much the whole day, but I did get oily after 5 hours. This is NOT for oil control but it helps keep your makeup in place rather than melting it all over your face. At the end of the day My makeup didn't seem all that bad, Of course, I had a bit of oil, but my makeup did not budge. I recommend this to people who have combination and oily skin.
